Dance with Jazz-z

Jazz-z Durgin is a professional certified ballroom and country dance instructor. Known for her energetic teaching style and welcoming approach, Jazz-z has become a familiar face throughout Central Florida’s social dance community.

As the owner and organizer of multiple Line Dancing & West Coast Swing events across Lake County, Jazz-z is dedicated to growing the local dance scene and creating opportunities for dancers to learn, connect, and enjoy social dancing. Her experience spans ballroom, country, line dancing, and West Coast Swing, allowing her to bring a well-rounded perspective to every class and workshop.

Jazz-z recently has earned multiple West Coast Swing Jack & Jill competition wins, showcasing her versatility, musicality, and ability to dance successfully with a variety of partners. Her competitive experience, combined with years of teaching, allows her to break down concepts in a way that is both effective and easy to understand.

Outside of the dance world, Jazz-z is also the owner of Jazz’d Up Horsemanship, where she trains horses and riders, specializing in developing confidence, communication, and partnership. Her background in both teaching and training reflects her commitment to helping others achieve their goals—whether on the dance floor or in the saddle.

Jazz-z’s workshops are known for being engaging, informative, and fun, making her a sought-after instructor for dance events, festivals, and social dance communities throughout the region.
